Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

The Strangers are back – more brutal and relentless than ever. When they learn that one of their victims, Maya (Madelaine Petsch), is still alive, they return to finish what they’ve started. With nowhere to run and no one to trust, Maya must survive another horrific chapter of terror as The Strangers – driven by a senseless, unceasing purpose – pursue her, more than willing to kill anyone who stands in their way.

The movie was originally aimed to hit theaters sometime in the Fall of 2024.

Lionsgate distributes.

Filmed in Bratislava, Slovakia back-to-back with the other two films in the trilogy.

One of the film’s producers was quoted saying: “Like Strangers fans everywhere, we’re thrilled for Chapter 2 — it’s the kind of film that’ll have audiences watching through their fingers. Bringing it to theaters this Halloween season feels perfect, and we can’t wait for everyone to see where the story goes next.”

Renny Harlin (Deep Blue Sea, Mindhunters, Exorcist: The Beginning, Devil’s Pass) directs all three films in the new trilogy.

Written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland (duo that wrote several eps of King of the Hill and the movie Due Date).
