Follows Mindy, a young widow and mother, who desperately tries to protect her daughter Alice from the grips of a fiendish, flesh eating monster named Agyar. Mindy has been secretly sacrificing her own life by allowing the creature to slowly feast on her body as she keeps Alice hidden away at her grandmother’s home.
RLJE Films and Shudder distribute in the US. It will receive a limited theatrical run in October before going to Shudder later in the year. (8/8/24)
Filmed in LA.
Co-producer and star Krsy Fox was quoted saying: “This film serves as a dark metaphor for parenthood and protecting your children at all costs. The stakes are high and the outcome is terrifying and gruesome. I’ve never taken on a character quite like Mindy. Her emotional toll is heavy and it feels as though the world is against her. She’s a hero in the way that any loving parent is. She does whatever it takes to protect her child. I can’t wait to work with this iconic cast and team to bring Spider’s incredible vision for this film to life.” (6/9/23)
Written/directed by Spider One (Allegoria, Bury the Bride). Spider One is best known as a singer/songwriter and the founder of the rock band Powerman 5000. He is also the younger brother of rocker Rob Zombie.
RLJE Films released Little Bites in Select Theaters and on VOD/Digital on October 4, 2024.
