DREAD distributes in the US.
Filmed in LA in 2020.
Star Ariel Winter was quoted saying: “The fear in this film isn’t just about what you see on the screen — it’s about what happens when the lines between virtual and reality start to blur. We’re excited to partner with Epic and Dread, and for audiences to experience the thrills, the chills and the very real uncertainty we all felt during that time. Don’t Log Off is a terrifying reminder that sometimes, logging off might be the scariest thing you can do!”
The feature film directorial debut of Brandon Baer and Garrett Baer, who were quoted saying: “We intend our film to exist as a time capsule—a testament to an insane technologically dependent period of all of our lives. And we felt the most honest way to tell that story was by mixing screen-life and traditional filmmaking elements in order to push the boundaries of this suspense thriller.”
This is said to be a “screenlife movie” mixed with some traditional filmmaking.
DREAD released Don’t Log Off in Select Theaters on July 11, 2025.
