When a struggling singer-songwriter gets the opportunity of a lifetime to work with a tech-obsessed music producer, her art and life are put in peril as she is forced to help create the perfect AI music algorithm.
Chroma distributes in the US and will reportedly receive a November 7th release on Apple TV and Fandango, followed by an SVOD release on Amazon Prime Video beginning December 1st 2025.
The movie reportedly includes “original songs by Caitlin Scholl and music production by Groves. Shannon performs her own vocals, all of which were recorded live on set, lending the film an authenticity and emotional weight.”
Directed by Zac Locke (#Float, Santa Isn’t Real), who was quoted saying: “We set out to make a film that’s as thrilling as it is thought-provoking, exploring what happens when art and technology collide, and Chroma is the perfect partner to bring that vision to audiences. Our team is incredibly honored to be among their first releases, and we can’t wait for people to experience Decibel.”
Chroma released Decibel on Apple TV and Fandango on November 7, 2025.
Decibel premieres on Prime Video on December 1, 2025.
