When Sophie Park, a Korean American college student, decides to reclaim her heritage and go by her Korean name, Joo Hyun, she is surprised by her grandmother’s immediate protests. Dismissing her grandmother’s warning of a ‘family curse’ as mere superstition, Joo Hyun instead focuses on Jun, a handsome and mysterious stranger. However, telling Jun her Korean name sets off a series of terrifying events as Joo Hyun scrambles to undo a generations long curse to save herself and her family.
Tubi debuts the movie via their streaming service.
