In 1987, a group of counsellors accidentally unleash a decades-old evil on the last night of summer camp. As the situation turns bloody, the group is forced to confront what stories are worth telling and what secrets are worth keeping.
Mainframe Pictures distributes in the US.
Directed by Erik Bloomquist (Ten Minutes to Midnight, Night at the Eagle Inn).
The film is said to pay tribute to 80s horror and has been described as a “refreshing, riotously fun take on a classic horror sub-genre.”
Based on the 2017 short with the same name, from director Erik Bloomquist, who returns to co-write/direct.
Mainframe Pictures released She Came from the Woods in select theaters on February 10, 2023.
She Came from the Woods premiered on Tubi on June 10, 2023.
ETR Media is releasing She Came from the Woods on Blu-ray through Vinegar Syndrome, with the disc now available for pre-order here.
